Each project is assigned a project manager, who will keep you informed every step of the way.
In order to generate a high-quality translation, an experienced linguist is selected, who translates into his or her native language AND specializes in the subject matter.
Translating does not only involve linguistic conversion from a source text into a target text. It also involves converting culture-specific concepts and idiosyncrasies. Our translators are aware of any linguistic idiosyncrasies and cultural differences, and apply this knowledge in crafting their translation.
In addition to expert linguistic and cultural knowledge, the translators utilize translation memory tools to deliver a consistent and high quality translation.
Once your translation is completed, the team works closely with editors and proofreaders who compare the translation with the source text. They verify the consistent and accurate usage of terminology throughout the text, as well as the style and format.

Consolidated Graphics has successfully implemented the use of translation memory technology, providing the clients with accurate, consistent translations AND cost and time savings.
It allows us to reuse previously translated phrases and terms. We store your translation projects in a central database, in which we create a separate translation memory unit for each client.
We definately ensure that the terminology and style are kept consistent throughout any project and from one project to the next.
If your project contains large pieces of duplicate text, applying translation memory to the file(s) will introduce time savings to the process. Applying translation memory also allows us reduce the overall cost to translate your documents.
FOREIGN LANGUAGE DESKTOP PUBLISHING (DTP)
Whether you bring us a letter, a brochure with graphics, a technical manual with charts and tables, a legal financial document, a medical textbook, or a web site, we can deliver multilingual versions of your project in the format you need. We can handle both PC and Mac platforms.
Translations regularly typesets foreign language texts in the following formats: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Front Page, RTF, PaintShop Pro, Quark XPress, Adobe InDesign(European and Middle Eastern), Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, HTML, XML, and XLIFF.
Through the process of Quality Control, they ensure that your typeset foreign language text reflects your original document exactly. The typeset version goes through several rounds of review by project managers, who are thoroughly familiar with the DTP process, and native speakers of the target language.
