Sales Professionals cultivate and maintain client relationships and develop a robust client base. Meet company sales goals by selling high quality, large volume offset and web commercial print jobs as well as CGXmedia products and and CGXSolutions. Commission based compensation.
Customer Service
Customer Service Representatives serve as the liaison between Sales Professionals and Production, and specify the procedures necessary to produce high quality printing for each job. Similar to Sales Professionals, they cultivate excellent relationships with clients and advise on jobs, which often impacts sales for the company.
Pre-press
Pre-press Professionals prepare customer files for the Press department on both Mac and PC based platforms, and perform scanning, image assembly, proofing and plating.
Pressroom
Press Operators sets up, operate and maintain a printing press to produce high quality printed material to customer specifications. Positions range from Feeder operator to Press operator on sheetfed offset presses.
Bindery/Finishing
Bindery Professionals operate and maintain finishing equipment and complete hand bindery processes to produce high quality finished printed products according to customer specifications.
Fulfillment Professionals prepare finished products, including inserting, collating and sealing, for shipment to various locations according to customer specifications.
Business Support
Estimators determine the cost and production process for potential jobs to generate a price for consideration by Sales Professionals.
Schedulers set the daily production schedule for each job in the plant according to production capacity and customer needs, and act as the liaison between Sales/Customer Service and Production.
Accounting and Billing Professionals assist the controller in completing daily duties related to AR/AP, payroll, job costing, invoicing and preparing financial statements.
Purchasers negotiate contracts and purchases for paper, ink, office supplies and outside operations from vendors in an efficient and cost effective manner according to the production schedule.
Information Technology Professionals maintain the network, e-mail system, computer hardware and software. They are responsible for procurement, trouble shooting and the security of equipment and data.
Shipping/Quality Clerks make sure that samples are pulled for jobs and that the finished product meets or exceeds the quality expectations set forth by John C. Otto. Also assists the Shipping Manager in preparing all jobs for shipment, coordinating with carriers, processing bills, and any other required paperwork.
Drivers are the last face clients see at the completion of any job. They deliver finished products to customers and picks up products from outside vendors in a company vehicle, and support other duties of the Shipping/Receiving department.
